Aki Sun, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Aki Sun is doctor，Assistant Chief of ENT Department at SinoUnited Health. Dr. Aki Sun earned her MD from Medical School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She has been engaged in clinical work since 2003, and has nearly 20 years’experience of clinical practice, teaching and research in ENT. Dr. Aki Sun specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic rhinitis, acute and chronic sinusitis, acute and chronic ear inflammation, tinnitus, vertigo, hearing impairment, etc. She is also experienced in assessment, monitoring and treatment of sleep apnea; desensitization treatment of allergic rhinitis.

Dr. Aki Sun is the committee member of China Association of Non-public Medical Institutions, Committee of ENT. She has presided over the scientific research projects of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, participated in several national natural science foundation projects. She has published nearly 10 academic studies and papers on ENT in many academic journals.

She has been responsible for theoretical and clinical teaching of ENT for many years. She has participated in writing professional books such as <Clinical Auditory Physiology>, <Diagnosis and Therapy of Head and Neck Tumors>. She has also won the "Shanghai Medical System Outstanding Young Physician Award" and other honorary titles.
