Jian Ang, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Ang Jian graduated from Zhejiang University and the University of Melbourne, Australia, with a Doctor of Medicine degree. She holds medical practitioner qualifications in China and Australia and has practiced clinical gastroenterology for 28 years in both countries, working at Zhejiang University's Second Affiliated Hospital, Austin Hospital affiliated with the University of Melbourne, and private hospitals in China.

In clinical practice, Dr. Ang Jian has performed over 15,000 endoscopic procedures and specializes in early diagnosis of early diagnosis of tumors, polyp removal, hemostasis, foreign body extraction, pre-cancerous lesion removal, and ligation treatment for esophageal/hemorrhoids varices. She has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastritis, functional gastrointestinal diseases, inflammatory bowel disease, and chronic liver disease.

Each year, Dr. Ang completes a large number of gastroscopy, colonoscopy and patients’ consultation and ranks among the top surgeons and leaders in patient care at her respective hospitals. She is committed to developing personalized treatment strategies based on therapeutic goals for her patients, advocating for the professional, standardized, and individualized comprehensive treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. Dr. Ang has received nearly unanimous satisfaction ratings in surveys across various platforms in China.

Dr. Ang Jian serves as a master's supervisor at Zhejiang University, contributes to medical education for international students and those pursuing an eight-year medical doctorate, and directs teaching activities in the field of gastroenterology. She has been a visiting scholar at Japan's Jichi Medical University Endoscopy Center, the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in the United States, and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

She has participated in several research projects funded by China's National Natural Science Foundation, Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation, Zhejiang Science and Technology Department, as well as Australia's NHMRC Dora Lash Medical Research Program. Her professional articles have been published in medical journals both domestically and internationally.

Dr. Ang serves as the Quality Director of SinoUnited Health, she guides implement and maintaining of medical quality and safety system to ensure the delivery of safe and reliable medical services to patients.
