Chen Zhang

Chen Zhang is a Senior Psychotherapist and Section Chief of Psychology at SinoUnited Health. She graduated from Columbia University in the United States and has over 10 years of clinical experience with 18000+ direct clinical hours. She previously worked as clinical director at a community mental health center in New York. She has been providing therapy services to individuals, couples, and families, having years of supervisory experience, helping psychotherapists with their individual client, facilitating various psych-education workshops and trainings for companies and schools.

Her approach to therapy is highly individualized, and her orientation is integrative by using various skills and modalities (e.g. Person-centered therapy, IPT,CBT, ACT, EFT, EMDR) depending on the needs of each individual. She believes in creating a safe and comfortable environment where a trusting and strong therapeutic relationship can be built and meaningful work can be done.
