Jeff Zhu, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Zhu specializes in diagnosing and treating common diseases in internal medicine, especially in all kinds of cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coronary artery disease, arterial atherosclerosis, heart failure, myocarditis, and various types of tachyarrhythmias and bradyarrhythmias. In particular, he is well versed in the early screening, risk prediction, effective management, comprehensive intervention, and efficacy evaluation of such chronic diseases. He also has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating high-risk symptoms such as unexplained chest distress and pain, palpitation and syncope, and more.

In 2020, Dr. Zhu joined the Shanghai Medical Team Assisting Hubei to work at Wuhan Leishenshan Hospital in the fight against COVID-19, managing patients with heart diseases and critical illnesses.
