Wei Xu, M.D.

Dr. Wei Xu is Visiting Specialist of Gynecology Department at SinoUnited Health. She graduated from Shanghai Medical University and obtained her master's degree from the Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University in 2006. Dr. Xu has dedicated over 30 years to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her primary focus is diagnosing and treating various benign diseases and malignant tumors in gynecology. Proficient in minimally invasive and transabdominal surgery for ovarian cysts and uterine fibroids, she has extensive experience in addressing pelvic organ prolapse, ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, and cervical cancer.                                        

Dr. Xu has long been engaged in teaching at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and Nanjing Medical University. She has published more than 10 papers, including those indexed in SCI journals. She has been awarded the first prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Award and the second prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award.
