Dr. Zhongmin Shi，M.D., Ph.D.（Visiting Specialist）
Dr. Zhongmin Shi is a Chief Physician and M.D. Ph.D. He has long been dedicated to clinical practice and research in foot and ankle surgery. With extensive international exchange experience, he has visited renowned foot and ankle surgery centers in Switzerland, France, Germany, North America, and other places. In 2006, he became the first Chinese international member of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS).
Dr. Shi specializes in diagnosing and treating various foot and ankle diseases, including non-traumatic conditions such as hallux valgus, flatfoot, and high-arched foot, as well as sports injuries such as ankle instability and talar osteochondral injuries. He also possesses profound clinical experience in managing foot and ankle fractures and complex injuries, particularly skilled in handling old foot and ankle fractures and post-traumatic sequelae.
Dr. Shi has also achieved remarkable accomplishments in the academic field. He has been invited to speak at numerous international and domestic academic conferences, including serving as a speaker at the second and third congresses of the International Federation of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (IFFAS) held in Italy and Brazil in 2005 and 2008, respectively. Additionally, he received the AOFAS Visiting Scholar Award and went to the United States for visits and exchanges. Dr. Shi has published over 80 papers and participated in compiling and translating 10 books.
Dr. Shi's professional expertise covers various aspects of foot and ankle diseases, including non-traumatic conditions, sports injuries, fractures, and complex injuries. He has particularly rich experience in diagnosing and treating old foot and ankle fractures and post-traumatic arthritis.
