Dr. Jiang Fan is a Chief Physician, Medical Doctor, Associate Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor. He serves as the Director of the Department of Thoracic Surgery at the Shanghai General Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine.
Dr. Fan has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of thoracic surgery, specializing in the early diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of lung cancer. His expertise also includes surgical treatment of thymic tumors, diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary bullae/pneumothorax, surgical treatment of bronchiectasis. He is highly proficient in minimally invasive surgical treatment of lung cancer and is particular skilled in performing complex and difficult surgeries for lung and mediastinal tumors.
Dr. Fan holds a utility model patent for the "Subxiphoid Double Retractor Technique" (ZL201720319058.1) and was the first in China to utilize this technique for total thymectomy.
