Yuan Zhu，M.D., Ph.D.（Visiting Specialist）
Dr. Yuan Zhu, Associate Chief Physician in the Department of Orthopedics at Ruijin Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, M.D., Ph.D., specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various foot and ankle diseases. He has unique insights and experiences in the correction of foot and ankle deformities (such as flatfoot, high-arched foot, clubfoot, hallux valgus, and post-traumatic deformities) and sports-related foot and ankle injuries (ankle instability, cartilage injuries, and various foot and ankle tendon and ligament injuries).
Dr. Zhu undertook further studies in foot and ankle surgery in the United States under the tutelage of the world-renowned foot and ankle expert, Mark Myerson. He was honored with the Annual Exchange Scholar Award from the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) in 2016 and the Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award in 2020. Dr. Zhu has participated in four research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, presided over two research projects in Shanghai, published numerous academic papers in professional journals both domestically and internationally, and co-authored over ten books on foot and ankle surgery.
