Dr. Wen Kang，M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Wen Kang, MD, PhD, a seasoned Otolaryngologist with 10+ years of clinical experience from a top-tier ENT department at Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, specializing in comprehensive surgical and medical management of ENT disorders. She is currently an ENT (Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery) physician at SionUnited Health, specializing in outpatient and emergency diagnosis and treatment, ENT surgeries, and inpatient care management.

Dr. Kang received her Doctor of Medicine (MD-PhD) degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. From 2014 to 2025, she was trained and worked in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, gaining extensive clinical experience.

Under the mentorship of Professor Hao Wu, Chairman of the Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Committee of the Chinese Medical Association, Dr. Kang possesses profound expertise in managing common ENT conditions such as pediatric obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS), rhinitis, sinusitis, and otitis media. She has performed hundreds of ENT surgeries independently, such as tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. With experience in treating thousands of cases of ear and nasal trauma, she is highly proficient in managing nasal bone fractures and reconstructing ear and nasal deformities. Additionally, she has participated in hundreds of complex otological procedures, including cochlear implantation, acoustic neuroma resection, and lateral skull base tumor surgeries.

Dr. Kang has conducted in-depth research in the field of inner ear gene therapy, with 6 publications in Zone 1 SCI-indexed journals, 3 articles in core medical journals, and one patent to her name, achieving a cumulative impact factor of 32.
