Dr. Dadao Jing (Visiting Specialist)

Dr. Dadao Jing, Chief Physician, Professor, M.D. Ph. D., as well as a postgraduate supervisor. He is currently employed in the Department of Gastroenterology at Shanghai General Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. Additionally, he has served as a visiting scholar at Kyushu University Hospital in Japan and Queen Mary Hospital at the University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Jing graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 1994. His primary research and clinical practice focus on the fundamental and clinical aspects of diseases such as early-stage gastrointestinal tumors, functional gastrointestinal disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, and Helicobacter pylori infection. He is proficient in performing examinations including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasonography, and small bowel endoscopy, as well as various endoscopic minimally invasive surgical treatments for early-stage gastrointestinal tumors. Currently, he serves as a member of the expert review panel for the Natural Science Foundation and Key Research Projects of the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, as well as a member of the Shanghai Medical Malpractice Appraisal Expert Panel. He also acts as a reviewer for several well-known professional journals. Dr. Jing has previously undertaken multiple research projects funded by the Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has edited or co-edited four monographs and published over 90 academic papers, including 27 SCI-indexed articles.
