Dr. Wang Zhanshan currently serves as the General Surgeon at SinoUnited Health. He specializes in providing comprehensive and precise surgical care for both adult and pediatric patients. Dr. Wang began his medical career in 2000 upon graduating from Shanghai Second Medical University (now Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine) with a Bachelor's degree in Medicine. He furthered his education, obtaining a Master's degree in Surgery from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 2013, and later earned his Medical Doctorate (MD) from Nanjing Medical University in 2020. With over 25 years of extensive clinical experience, Dr. Wang laid a solid surgical foundation during his 18-year tenure in the General Surgery and Pediatric Surgery departments at Shanghai First People's Hospital. Prior to joining SinoUnited Healthcare, he served as an Attending Surgeon and Associate Chief Physician at a premium private hospital in Shanghai for seven years, where he gained substantial experience serving both domestic and international patients in a high-end private healthcare setting.

In terms of clinical expertise, Dr. Wang has particular proficiency in laparoscopic minimally invasive surgical techniques. His scope of practice broadly covers both adult and pediatric surgical fields:

• Adult Surgery: Specializes in the surgical treatment of gastroduodenal, small intestine, and colorectal tumors; gallstones; various types of abdominal wall hernias; lower extremity varicose veins; and benign and malignant tumors of the thyroid and breast.
